Peter S. Di Marco

Fishkill - Peter S. Di Marco of Fishkill passed away peacefully on May 21, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 85. Born on December 24, 1929 in New York City to the late Antonio and Josephine Barbera Di Marco. Peter married the love of his life Nina Fedotoff on January 5, 1952 at the Chapel of Incarnation in Manhattan. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 6 years prior to his employment with IBM where he retired in 1990 as an advisory engineer. Peter enjoyed carpentry, stamp collecting, gardening and keeping up on current financial readings.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years Nina of Fishkill, Loving Children Nina Mittelstaedt and her husband Chuck of Pleasant Valley, and Peter Di Marco of San Jose, California. Cherished grandchildren Meghan Telzerow and her husband Ray, and Jason Mittelstaedt and his husband Brian O'Connell. Great grand children Ariana and Evelyn Telzerow. His dear siblings Frank Di Marco and his wife Anne, Eleanor Di Marco, Mary Masi, Sal Di Marco and his wife Josephine and Angie Di Marco. Peter was predeceased by his brothers Sal Di Marco, Nicholas DiMarco and Anthony Di Marco. The family would like to thank Hudson Valley Hospice for the care they gave Peter in his final days.

Friends may call on Monday May 25, 2015 from 2-6pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home 1028 Main St, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, Fishkill. Entombment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
