Not sure what to say?

My friendship with Peter goes back the mid 1940´s. We went to the same grammar school, lived in NoBeach. He was a great friend of the Lombardi family as I was. Carmela Lombardi & I were great friends. I loved going to the Lombardi home, Especially when most of the No Beach boys were there, including Peter. I´ll be seeing you!!

Pete was one of the good guys He was a gentleman with a good heart . I liked and trusted him. My horses were boarded at the double bar M for several years. and I had not worries what so ever about their care. I really enjoyed the ranch and the people around it.

Dear Benita, Larry and I were so sad to read about Pete's passing. He was a "one of a kind" guy and we enjoyed knowing him. We read your book and loved the stories about his SF adventures. We do hope you can find some peace with the many memories you shared over the years!

I worked for pete,as cocktail waitress,at condor night club,he was such a sweet, and honest down to earth man,I grew up in North Beach, and went to Galileo High, but im 20 yrs younger than pete,so sorry to hear of his passing, but he lived a good long life, and im sure hes in heaven

I met Pete and Bonita in 78 for a lunch at his home with Connie Lynch. He was a nice guy. I went to the Music Box back then where Pete and his brother Angelo worked, what a fun time. I just wanted to let Pete's family know I respected him.

It´s hard to imagine that twinkle in Pete´s eye is gone. He was a generous, interesting and sweet man. I was lucky to know him and connect the dots to the condor which I visited often. Benita was a great partner to his vigorous life.

It wasn´t long ago that we helped Pete celebrate his 80th birthday. It was so much fun to meet his colorful friends and relatives. Pete had a wonderful life and his devoted wife, Benita, was always at his side. Pete will be sorely missed.

So many memories especially listening to his stories at elk hunting camp in Utah. ( not to mention the big one that got away :)

BJ I was so sorry to read Pete passed away. I worked at The Music Box for Pete, Angelo and Jack back in the 70's and it was so much fun. Pete was such a character with his handlebar mustache and was such a great boss who really cared about all of his employees setting the bar so high for all of us in striving to be the #1 Hotspot in Sonoma County which he succeeded in doing. I remember when he hired Danny Medlin the Cornerback for the Oakland Raiders to tend bar in the off season. Between he...
