Not sure what to say?

To the Mays Family, I have recently noticed that your dear Peter passed away in December and I just wanted to offer my sincerest condolences. I grew up in the Hayhurst/St John Fisher school district and was a childhood friend of Pete's and still recall his story of his famous baseball grandfather. I am quite saddened about this and send my best wishes from Ireland where I now reside. Mike Sampier.

Pete was the definition of "Life of the party!" He was always up for a good time and was spontaneous and adventurous. Pete loved his family and was most proud of his son and daughter. He was well loved and will be greatly missed! Our hearts and prayers go out to you Teri, Claudia and Billy.
Love, Mike and Stephanie Riepma

Dear Mays Family:
I met Pete nearly 30 years ago when he was the Foodservice Director for Pepsi in Portland. You knew immediately that Pete was special. He let you into that wonderful place that he had created with his welcoming smile. He was a tremendous business partner to my company, but much more than that, he was a kind and gentle man who treated everyone with courtesy, dignity, and respect. And, he did it with a smile on his face. He was a true gentleman and it is sad to think that...

Pete was a great fraternity brother, good man and a gentle soul. "Wee" made a difference and he and his smile will be missed. We so appreciated his sharing his final journey with us. All the best to Pete's family. Becky and Dave Mc

I got to know Pete while I was working for Dr Pepper and he was at Pepsi. I always enjoyed working along side him and sharing a laugh. We bumped into each other a while back at a local taproom and caught up a bit. My condolences to the family. He will be missed.

Dear Friends,
We will send a donation to the Children's Cancer Association to honor Claudia's father. Our sympathy goes out to the entire family.

I knew Pete many years ago at Wilson High School and played baseball with him in grade school. Quality guy! My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Jim Leahy

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Mays family during this time of sorrow. Pete was a great man and friend.

My condolences to all the family. I first met Peter when he was the boy next door when we moved back to Portland from Brookings in 1969!
