Not sure what to say?

We will miss longtime resident Mr. Pete.

In 1995 Peter Day performed a triple wedding ceremony for me and my style to be here in Pocatello Idaho. He has been an awesome fair, caring judge and lawyer that I have known in the past he has helped me on several cases. I was so proud and honored to have him perform the marriage that I had in 1995 there was a triple wedding three couples we even made the newspaper Here in Pocatello Idaho again my name is Linda Garrett at the time. My name is Linda Rees. May you rest in peace Mr. McDermott?

My mom worked for Peter D at the court house. He was a great boss and became a great family friend. He was always kind and courteous. We spent many days together in Mackay with him, Sandy and his sister Patty. So many happy memories. We have all lost a great man and friend.

Peter D was a very good friend of the Family. Absolutely adored him. He will be so missed. Much respect to the Family

Pete's death has hit me hard. As Judge McDermott, he presided over the adoption of my daughter. He was in my family's corner in some recent legal issues. And he was just a heckuva nice guy. Rest in peace, good man.

This man has saved my life more than once thanks to his good judgment I have been sober 23 years in November he was my public defender and also a friend and my judge and he rest in peace love you Pete

I was sorry to hear about Pete passing! We lost a genuine and respected human being, who was always approachable and kind! Condolences to all his family and friends!

Peter D. was absolutely a great person. Just out of law school, he taught my law enforcement class at I.S.U. about the working aspects and the parameters of Criminal Justice. He was brilliant and I so enjoyed running into him throughout life. The memories of him will last forever. Gone but never forgotten.
