Not sure what to say?

To Peter, Jim and Steven Nothing but the best of memories of this good man, going back to him coaching my brother John in Milton´s Squirt A´s in the early `70s, then to learning of the glories of his beloved Boston College. I´ll never forget the first time hearing my late beloved father referring to another man´s wife as Honey. Mr. & Mrs. McLaughlin were the best couple and the best parents. You guys, like us Flatleys, were very fortunate, surrounded by love. May he rest in eternal...

To all the Mclaughlin family, Bill and I extend our deepest sympathy. We will greatly miss Peter´s fun loving, gregarious and passionate spirit. May he rest in peace. Love, Lucy and Bill

After viewing all the well deserved attributes and talents that defined Peter as a person, there is always something to be added. During our 70 years of friendship, I witnessed Peter as a teacher and advisor. It did not matter who you were,if you had a problem Peter was one of the first to respond. Many of Roe and my most memorable events were shared with Honey and Peter. Peter was like my brother. Our thoughts are with the family. Peter will be greatly missed, remembered often, and prayed for...

Sorry for your loss! I have fond memories of Peter from BC Alumni Association days. He was a wonderful and kind boss and even better person.

Great man and so much fun on and off the court.A true gentleman. We´ll miss you Peter

Peter is a wonderful person, great tennis player and gentleman, and had a very positive impact on my life. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with the entire McLaughlin family.

I and so many other of his tennis pals feel the deep loss of a guy we loved. Win or lose he was so much fun to play, a true sportsman on and off the court. We´re all hoping he´ll be rewarded with a serve in his next life, where, no doubt Dick Mount awaits, racket in hand. My sincere condolences to all the many McLaughlins who, I´m sure, sent him off in style.

Having played tennis with Peter for over 30 years on a weekly basis I was fortunate to befriend a man of incredible attributes. He will certainly be missed by the so many people who were fortunate to know him. I wish his family and friends my best regards in dealing with their loss.
