Not sure what to say?

As covid has made us value our short time on earth, and how fast time flies, I often reflect on happy times with the family. Playing canasta with your Mom, swimming in Kay’s pool, learning my second husband purchased his first car from Champ, Marion being pregnant with Tania, St George’s youth group and billy the cat. I hope all is well with you and yours

Peter You would have been so pleased to see so many of your family and friends at your home yesterday to celebrate your life. Mia does it every year for which we are all grateful for. Miss you so much. Can't believe it has been 10 years.Think about you often. love forever. Margaret

Thinking about Peter today, which is Kay's birthday. I miss both of them very much.

With the sudden passing of Robert I was thinking about this online guest book for Peter. I've re-activated the guest book and it will be available long term for those wishing to drop in a note or a photo when they are thinking of Peter.

When I think of Peter McQuaid, I think of a fun-loving, gentle, and easy-going guy. It was in Peter's good nature to go out of his way to lend a helping hand to others, as he did many times for me and my family. I will remember you with a smile peter. May peace and love fill the hearts of Minami and the rest of Peter's family. Love Angie Desilets, Roman Iachetta, Frank Iachetta.

Peter, you left us too quickly. I didn't get a chance to say thank you for watching over me until I met my darling Louis. Thank you also for being so kind and such a great friend to me and my whole family over these past 40 years! My heart & stomach ache with wrenching pain when I think you have left this world...although, in my heart I know your "spirit" will be watching over us all forever. You were a true friend and we will miss you dearly. Our heartfelt sympathy to our dear friend...

In reading the obituaries in the Montreal Gazette my eyes focused on the name McQuaid. I worked for many years at Reader's Digest with Irma & recognized the names of her children, as she often mentioned you with such pride. My deepest sympathies to all family members.

Heart felt condolences to Minami and to Peter's family and friends. Treasure the free spirit he was, his infectious laugh and his Joie de Vie. May these memories comfort you for always.

So often during the course of our life friends come and go, but not so for Peter. To him, friendship was for life, and family was always number one. Peter was always there without question or judgement. I was blessed to have been a friend of his for 40 years. I will always miss him, his friendship and his infectious smile. My thoughts and prayers are with Minami and Peter's family during this difficult time. Love Gail
