Peter John Merisotis

I first met Pete in 12th grade Health class. He sat right beside me. He was painfully shy in those days but we hit it off. We always had a knack for making each other laugh and we became very close friends. We would write to each other when he was in the Navy and he was always happy to give me a ride in his Porsche when he would be home on visits.

As life would have it, I got married and moved away and we lost contact with each other but I was able to see him a few times throughout...

I will miss my dear friend. He and his parents were a staple to our community. George's pizza wasn't just a pizza shop. Pete and his parents cared for our community and helped so many countless causes. This town will not be the same without you. I will miss his smile and kind words. He was like a big brother to me. He would stop whatever he was doing to give me a hug. Truly the most selfless person I ever knew. He deserved so much more time. My heart is forever broken. Say hello to the folks...
