Since I was unable to attend Pete's funeral, I do want to extend my sympathy to the family of this extraordinary man. As a member of St. Katharine Drexel Church, I was privileged to bring Communion to both he and Julia many times. It was an honor to be in their home and to bring the body of Christ to them. I always walked out their door with a huge dose of warmth, kindness and love that could not be missed between the two of them. We talked about Pittsburgh, family and their amazing past. ...

My heart grieves with the loss of my dear "Zio" But he is with our Lord so I know that he is at peace. I will feel the warth of his love always as I remember him. I was blessed to be his niece. He clearly let me know that he loved me. Thank you Uncle Pete. Cioa Bello, Zio.
