Peter Richard “Pete” Moore, 68, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
Pete was born to Clarence and Virginia Moore on December 25, 1950 on Long Island, New York. He grew up in Merrick, NY and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Albany State University. Pete moved to Pensacola in 1981 and founded Pete Moore Chevrolet. Pete always had a passion for his business, the employees, and this community. Pete was known for his honesty, integrity, kindness, and fairness throughout his life. He was a devoted 38-year member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, FL. Pete enjoyed boating and most of all loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife, Angela Ellis Moore; four daughters, Danielle Virginia Chodorowski (David), Lauren Moore Cutter (Michael), Jacqueline Patricia Pommerening (Eric), and Meghan Kay-anne Conklin; 10 grandchildren, David Peter, Claire, Joseph, Paul, Virginia, & Elizabeth Chodorowski, Cole & Beckett Cutter, and Levi & Archer Pommerening; his four siblings, Stephen Moore (Cathy), Patricia Peirano (John), George Moore (Sharon), and William Moore; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held 5-7pm Friday, May 3, 2019 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, FL. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Saturday, May 4, 2019 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Gulf Breeze, FL, with Msgr. Luke Hunt celebrant. Private family committal will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, FL.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Moore, George Moore, William Moore, John Peirano Jr., Justin Moore, Stephen Moore Jr., and Mike Cutter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Santa Rosa Kids House, 5643 Stewart St., Milton, FL 32570.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr.Pete Moore he was a great man he loved his family and his employees I bought my chrysler300 back in 2010 paid it off he had great compassion for his customers I thank God I met him and the staff I still go out at time do get services I especially like to thank one of his Best employees Jay he is the Best . To the Familly keep trusting and God he will see ya'll through.

On a personal level, Pete and his wife Angela were sponsors when my husband and I chaired the American Cancer Society Cattle Barons Ball in 2013/2014.
