Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear about the loss of Pete. Cherish the fond memories you created with him and may they help you through those difficult days. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Pam, you don't know me, but I was a classmate of Pete at Immanuel Lutheran grade school. I want to first express my condolences to you and your family for your loss. The mother of another classmate, Sheila Habeck, was kind enough to forward the news but unfortunately I didn't get it until 9/11 or I would have been there for his funeral.

I also want to thank you for one of the most beautiful obituaries I've ever read. I often wonder about the paths taken by Pete and several other...

I saw you and Pete at the UW Cancer center a few weeks back. He gave me crap just like he did in the mill! If I only would have known how sick he actually was I would have given him a big hug. I worked with Pete in the Port mill for MANY years. He was a great guy for sure!

Our Deepest Sympathy to you and your family.

Pam and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I will not pretend to know how you feel...I can't imagine. I think of you often and am glad I got to know you and Pete this last year or two. Your closeness was evident to even someone who only visits your home every once in awhile. I will miss his smile and teasing. Be strong, he is with you in spirit, always.
