To have known Peter as I did as a member of District Attorney Newman Flanagan's Homicide Response team was a privilege and learning experience that resonates even after more than a quarter century. Peter was the detective you would pray for if your loved one was the victim. He was tough, honest and relentless. God Bless and Keep him. Deepest sympathy to all his family and friends.

My condolences to Peter's family. As a young ADA, I worked with him often during the 80s.
He was a fine policeman and detective with a great sense of humor. As my friend Jim Curran said in an earlier post ; he was unique. God Bless.

Lady Di, we have many memories of Peter and we are blessed. I always looked up to Peter early in my police career and later on I was fortunate to work with him at District,One,District Two, and Homicide.Peter taught me to be a good cop andthen,in a way,Peter mentored me and helped me to be a better cop.Try as I did I couldn't be as good as him. HE WAS UNIQUE! He is mixed and will continue to be missed. Needless to say You and Peter are in m prayers.Caps were intentional
