Not sure what to say?

My life was truly blessed and enriched with the friendship of Father O'Grady. I thank God for the close friendship of Father, although all too short. We knew him but 10 years. He was truly a great man and our family will miss him greatly. We loved him dearly.

All of us at St. Agnes will miss Father O'Grady very much. We have great memories of Father O'Grady, especially when he presided over our daughter's wedding at St. Agnes. She wanted to wait until he could preside at her wedding and he did a beautiful service for her. Thank you Father Peter and Rest In Peace.

Very sad to hear of the death of Fr Peter. Our prayers and condolences to John and Michael and all the family. We have happy memories of his visits to our house in Mill Lane, Wallasey with his mother Mrs O'Grady and Michael. He was a larger than life character, flamboyant and full of fun. Our children Anne and Joe visited him in New Orleans with their partners and had a very entertaining visit and he made them so welcome. He kept in touch with us every year at Christmas and we...

Always looked forward to your homecomings in summer when we were kids and visiting Ireland with you. It was an experience! Sadly in later life the family has grown apart, but the memories are good.
Rest easy Uncle Peter.

On the day of my husband's annulment hearing the priest he had been working with failed to show up. Father O'Grady walked up to him and asked how he could help. He worked with us to make the process as easy as possible. We spent many wonderful evenings with him and loved his jokes. He was a very special man and he will be sorely missed.

A Father standing where a Father should!

Father O'Grady,

Thank you for standing with me both as a Father figure and a friend on my wedding day. I could not have asked for a better escort down the aisle! I will love and miss you so very much!

I remember being an altar boy at Saint Agnes. There were times when we would be kneeling at the altar while Father O'Grady was blessing the bread and wine. We would be talking and laughing. I remember the "stare" from Father O'Grady. It was like daggers piercing the soul, you would get chills. I remember that after mass, we were all hoping that everyone would stop and distract Father O'Grady while we hurried up and changed so we could run out. Sometimes we were lucky, sometimes we were not!...

It was honor to have Father O'Grady as an employer. It was a blessing to have known him, as a friend. His laughter, care amd love will always remain deep within our hearts. He is with the Lord, whom he loved so much, and this brings peace to all of those who loved him. Our prayers are with his family and close friends. May the Lord continue to provide peace and found memories for all you.

Fr. O'Grady, We thank God for the many times you said mas for our parish St. Louis King of France. We will miss you very much. We know you are looking down on us and enjoying your singing with the Lord's Choir. We will also miss seeing you at Danny's O'Flaherity's.
You will always be in our hearts and prayers.'
