Pete an Pat became close friends with my parents, Carl and Eileen Madsen, when they became neighbors on Hill Road in Sister Bay. That was almost fifty years ago!
Pete always had a joke, a kind word or a funny story. Pete may have gotten my Dad interested in joining Lions.
After they moved, I'd see Pete and Pat only infrequently. At the Pig. Or maybe a concert in Sister Bay. Always on the Fourth of July.
Pete will be missed by many. Our thoughts are with his family.
