Peter P. Keithan, devoted husband of Jean (Sjovall) Keithan for 62 years, died on July 8 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born on Oct. 16, 1930 to the late George and Rose (Englehardt) Keithan. He grew up in the Wallingford/Durham area and was employed by Allegheny Industries until 1986....

Peter was a Commissioner on both the Cromwell Planning and Zoning and Cromwell Water Pollution Authority. Peter gave many years of community service to the town of Cromwell. His voting record was one of what he felt would benefit the community as a whole. He was truly a man of his own principles rather than following the party line. Well done Peter and may the next generation follow your example of community service.
