Not sure what to say?

I met Pete when I was a student at UMD and both of us did coaching practicums with the Woodland Jr. High Track team in the Spring of '79. He was a friendly, easy going, fun loving, nice looking fellow who could run like the wind. I played football at UMD & prided myself as being one of the fastest guys on the team. When I mentioned that to Pete, he challenged me to a foot race of about 100 yards. I bolted off to an early lead 40 yards in and then Pete came flying by me and buried me in his...

Pete...I can't believe it's been a year. I'm seeing you in all the fall beauty around me and I miss you. I won't forget.

Peter it's been a year since you left our lives. We miss you and think about you every day.

Happy Birthday... I miss you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Palm family right now. How sad you must be. I'm sad, too, because I've lost a special friend. Pete was my first love... we shared a special bond that has continued throughout our adult lives. In high school, we were crazy in love. I was attracted to his smile, his sense of humor, his sensitivity and his love of adventure. And, oh yes, that giggle. Anyone who's heard it knows what I'm talking about! We made a lot of wonderful memories back then, and we...

I just heard about Peter's death and am so sad for you, his family. Pete and I worked at Grandma's in Duluth, together and he touched my life with lots of laughs and was such a good friend! After all these years, I still think of him often and about what a neat person he is and how he lived life to the fullest and was able to fulfill his dreams!

I was so saddened to hear about Pete's death. He was truely a kind and fun man. I knew Peter from Grandma's Saloon and Deli and we shared many fun occasions together.
We all had so much fun and I will hold on to those memories of the wonderful times we all shared. Goodbye my friend. God Bless you! My deepest sympathy to Pete's family.
Sincerely,
Bobbi Pirkola

Although I did not know Peter personally, I send my deepest sympathy and thoughts to his family members for their loss.
