Not sure what to say?

I´m so sorry to have seen this many years later. He was a very intimidating figure at Pioneer High but every now and then I´d catch him crack a smile. He was always very kind to me. It´s been 40 years plus since and I can still hear him say..."That´s a DEMERIT."

Just saw the passing of my old coach and friend. It was with a sad heart that I read the guest book. From the time I met you (and did my first 15 pushups) in your office, playing for you and coaching against you, I have had the greatest respect for you as a family man , coach, person and a mentor. You will be missed!

pete, you will be missed by many who have been in your circle of friend. pete was the supervising teacher for dave hirth and myself in 1965. great person and great teacher. thanks for all you did for me and many others. doug horning

I ENJOYED WORKING WITH PETE DURING BLUEBERRY SEASON. HE WAS LIKE A FATHER TO ME WHEN I LOST MY FATHER.FLY HIGH WITH ALL THE ANGELS PETE YOU SURE DO DESERVE THOSE WING.RIP

Thank you for your neighborly friendliness, Pete! We will always remember picking blueberries for dessert, the kids riding their bikes in your driveway, sitting in your big fun tree in the front yard, fudgesicles right before lunch and the funn, witty comments on the road. Fly with the Angels, sweet Friend!

I met Pete at Fruitland Township when I started working here 17 years ago. He rented a house to me and my Daughter. He was a great man that treated me like family. Prayers to the family at this difficult time.

I worked at Pioneer High with Pete he was a great guy and the kids all liked him. I remember the nick name the kids had* Push Up Pete". He will ber missed but the memories will live on

Pete was my baseball coach. Many of life's lessons learned from him. Tough yet compassionate. Will be sorely missed. David Court Atlanta, Ga..
