Not sure what to say?

Peter Parandes... A man among men who stands out because of his love for God, family and people. Laverne , Family and Friends please accept my deepest heartfelt condolences for your loss and mine. Laverne I do not know if you remember me as it was long ago back in the day when Pete was a Farmers Insurance Agent on Harding Blvd that our walk in lifes path crossed. Pete hired me to help out in the office. It wasn't long before I was helping Phil and Ron also. All three were independent but...

Pete... we really had some good times together... music, food (courtesy of Laverne!), laughs. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life and thank you for teaching me all that you knew about Greek music. I still think about those gigs we played together in old Sacramento.

You left way too soon... I'm really going to miss you. Kalo taxidi, file mou.

Laverne, Evan, Christina, Strat and Nicky... my heartfelt condolences go out to you. Pete was a special man who...

To Laverne and Family
It is with great sadness that I just heard the news today of Pete’s passing. I will remember Pete as Strong, Smart and Well Respected with a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss him and never forget him… My deepest sympathy, Chris Clark

Dear All,

I found out about Pete's passing after the fact and part of me has also died.

I knew Pete for many years and loved him like a brother. He was simply a good man.

I grieve along with his family and offer my warm thoughts and love to one and all.

sincerely,

Dick Petruzzi

Parandes family,
I am blessed to know Pete, Laverne, Christina, Nicki, Evan and Strat plus a few of the grands I have met. Laverne and Pete became my friends in 1971 which has been a very special friendship. No matter how long between visits or phone calls, the conversation just starts where it left off. You all mean a great deal to me. Laverne, you have my number if you would like to talk or need anything.
I will miss seeing and talking with Pete but his spirit lives within me and I am...

You all are in my thoughts and prayers, let's remember the wonderful influence, compassion, and love Pete shared with all he came in contact with.

Dear Laverne, Nikki, & Family,

To think back at all the wonderful memories and times you were there for me, my Dad - ROTTEN ROGER, and my Mother - I have to say I am grateful you were named my God Parents. I will love Pete for ever for the love he gave us, and the laughs. I pray you and the family stay close and heal with the help of God and each other. Pete will be forever remembered...I promise!!!

Laverne and family: I will always cherish the memory of Peter. Peter and I played in Perry Phillip's Greek band in 1961 at the El Cid restaurant in San Francisco. I regret we did not spend more time together here in the Sacramento area. Peter was one of the really good guys, and will be missed by me, and all who knew him. Andy

Daddy,

You fought so hard. Your spirit never gave up, only the body. You and Mom are my heroes. You both have led by example how to face adversity with faith, honor and dignity. Dad, I love you..and promise to take care of Mom, Nikki Strat and Evan. I will miss you every single day of my life.
