Peter E. Pattison

I didn't know Pete at Yale although we were in the same class, but about 2yrs after graduation when I was a Med student at GWU and Pete was newly married and in the Army, I met him thru a friend Don McKay a fellow GW student and we became friends along with another couple George and Nancy Buehler(George was Harvard but we forgave him.) I was shocked to read of Peter's death in the Yale Alumni Magazine. Although my contact was brief i.e. in Washington D.C. during his Army stint and a brief get together in N.Y. in 1959 or 60 I have fond memories of him as well as Jane. My sincere condolences to Jane and the entire family. I know he will be sorely missed.

Peter revealed only tidbits of his esteemed real estate credentials to me from time to time. I felt honored to have his and Jane' confidence through multiple residential real estate transactions in their personal holdings. But as I read the scope of Peter's work and honors over so many years, I am once more reminded of just how humble a man Peter was - who knew?!
