Peck, Peter Faris Sr. age 80, asleep in Jesus, Sunday, May 20, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen (Brauer) Peck. Devoted father of Peter Jr. (Jill), Beth Packer, and Jeanne (Robert) Grone. Dearest grandfather Paps of Jordan (Michael) Carpenter, Bradley Packer, Brennen Faris (Camilla) Grone, Caleb (Deborah) Peck, Daniel Packer, Benjamin (Natalea) Peck and James Peter Peck. Greatgrandfather of Wesley, Naomi, Jeriah, Alden, and Levi. Pete graduated from Lutheran High School Central and attended Westminster College where he was a Beta Theta Pi. He was a 43 year State Farm, Crystal of Excellence and President's Club, Agent. A true Good Neighbor in every way. Pete served at St. Paul's Des Peres Lutheran Church as an Elder, Usher, VBS Team Member, and gardener. He was a devoted volunteer at Concordia Seminary, receiving the Christus Vivit (Christ Lives) award in 2016. He served on the board of By the Way Today. Pete loved his family well, enjoyed traveling the world, and volunteering in his community. He was a kind, generous gentleman, friend and mentor to many, and servant of Christ. Services: Funeral service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Des Peres, Friday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (Des Peres). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul's Des Peres Lutheran School - Tell The Next Generation or Westminster College. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home & Crematory, 14960 Manchester Rd., at Holloway, Ballwin, Thursday 4-8 p.m. and at the church, Friday, 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
