Dear Kathy,

My deepest condolences.

I remember Pete as my contemporary, my boss and as a friend. He was a fair and understanding man, always having an attentive ear. Many hours were spent at the snack bar in Gemco sipping on coffee while solving the world's problems. Sometimes we even talked about improving the jewelry department.

I regret we didn't keep in touch. We enjoyed each others humor, his was as dry as mine.

today fernando called me to tell me of your loss. there are no words to express how sorry i am, i did not realize he was ill. i lost my father to a sudden heart attack on november 1st, he was not ill so it took us by surprise. i am numb still as i'm sure you are too. i hope we can find peace as they have. fill free to call anytime.
