Pete was a wonderful neighbor. Over the years we had many sidewalk conversations oftentimes about books we were reading. Pete was an avid reader and offered great insights into his readings. He had an amazing intellect and knew so much about so much. Beyond that he was funny and caring; quick to smile and laugh. He loved his family, his neighbors, and his dogs. I’ve missed him these past few years and it saddens me to learn what the family has been through....

Dear Betty and Family, Our families enjoyed so many times together going back to our teen years with picnics, showers, weddings, etc. I will always have fond memories of Pete and was saddened to hear of his passing. May his memory be eternal.
