Not sure what to say?

1965, (left to right) Peter and Jamie Pollock aged 10 and 9. NZI Christmas party for staff and their families.

Peter, just learned of your passing in 2020. So sad to hear this news.

We were step-brothers from 1963-68 when we moved from Australia to NZ.

We were kids growing up in the ‘60s, in a changing world.

Rest in Peace. (Never forgotten.)

The photo is of us at your mother Gwen’s workplace (NZI) Christmas party in 1965. You were 10 years of age, and I was 9.

‘Santa’ gave you a microscope and gave me snorkelling goggles and flippers...

Namibia 2004

Pete, it’s hard to believe that 4 years have passed since you left us. I have many fond memories of all the mission trips we took together. Your joie de vivre was contagious! I keep your family in my prayers. I am thankful you are no longer suffering. I know we will meet again someday.

I think Lisa took this photo at the orphanage in Northern Namibia 2004.

I was sorry to read of Peter's passing. I lost contact after my mother passed away. My parents were Peter's godparents.

Anyone who shared even one day with Pete discovered how laid back he was, not to mention brilliant, adventurous, original, and committed to making the world shine brighter for all. His colleagues at Aerospace Corporation and friends in California experienced his love of humanity, and his faith and compassion that continually inspired him to reach out to those in need, whether in the next office or halfway around the world. He became a mentor to countless people, nudging them toward their best...

We are saddened to hear of Petes passing but thankful that he is not suffering any more. His enthusiasm for life and loved ones, his infectious positivity, and his servants heart will live on in each of us!

Susan and I met Pete in 1986 in Lancaster, CA. He was married to Cindy at that time. We quickly became the best of friends, worshipping together at LPC, playing back yard croquet (with margaritas!), sharing meals, and spending time together. I remember playing Pictionary with...

So very sorry to hear of my brother Pete's passing today.
Pete was a wonderful guy who had a huge Heart and always thought of others and was always willing to donate his time to help those around him.
My memories of time spent with him will always stay with me as we didn't get to see each other that often. We last saw each other in 2003 I think it was.
In one of his last emails too me he said that he had found peace with his illness and that he was feeling comfortable and...
