Not sure what to say?

To the Family of Pete Potvin -- So sorry to hear of your loss. Pete and I went to High School together and I remember Pete as a happy, considerate, passionate human being. My thoughts go out to you.

Dear Amy,
Ellen Sugg just told me about your husband passing. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you during this sad and difficult time. I wish you and your children comfort in memories of the good times spent with your husband Peter.

At this age, few events surprise me, but I was shaken to read about the early demise of such a fine person as Pete. Of all the people I recall from high school, Pete had the most kindly countenance of anyone, and the natural personality to match. My best memory of Pete is when the two of us tried to teach a lab rat to jump over a sponge in Mr. Bodecker's psych class. Rest in peace, Peter Potvin.

Just heard about Peter's death today. I am extremely sad for family's loss. In addition, the loss to the engineering community. Peter had the respect of everybody he was around. He will be greatly missed.

Peter was such a nice generous guy. I had a business friendship with Peter for several years. Just a wonderful and honest person. I will really miss him. I'm so sorry about this loss.

Dear Amy, Kate and David,
I was very sad to hear about the loss of your husband and father. Way too soon to let go of someone so special in your lives. Hang on to your wonderful memories. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Nurse Judy (Rush Creek)

Amy and Family,
I am shocked and saddened to learn of Pete's passing. My heart goes out to you. I will always remember Pete wearing a big smile and obviously enjoying life. Let those memories fill your hearts in the difficult days ahead.

To the Potvin Family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Your family meant a lot to us at Rush Creek Elementary School. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Sincerely, Kay Van Riper

I am so sorry to hear this news about Peter. He was a classmate of mine throughout high school, and we got along just fine. May he rest in peace!
