Peter McCrae Ramsey

I am stunned and so sorry to know of Mr. Ramsey's passing. My condolences to Mrs. Ramsey and family. Mr. Ramsey and Mrs. Ramsey made an enormous difference for me when I first moved to Virginia nearly three decades ago. I think of him often and am grateful for the family's kindness and generosity shown to me. Without their help I would never have been able to make the move or begin a new job and career. My gratitude is infinite to you all. Rest in peace and my condolences and best to all.

Dear Crae and family, We are often reminded of your parents' friendship. Anniversaries are difficult, as we know. We will not forget them.

Crae and family, Today Urv and I went to the SRLpool for the 1st time in a long while. I will never sit at a table there without recalling the many occasions when Urv & Peter sat there with The Times and Post and Journal discussing politics, finance and family. I rarely joined the conversation but sunbathed nearby. If we had known how brief our times together would be, what would we have done differently....made more effort to get together, lingered longer over a diet soda and the papers,...

One of the joys of our "later" life was meeting Peter, May Frances and Cynthia. We travelled to many lovely countries in Europe with them. Every day was spent exploring, laughing, and eating all the special cuisines. Loved every minute of our times with them!
