Not sure what to say?

He was a very sweet and kind man. I knew him since I was very young. My family went to Pete Eatmore Lunch every Friday. When I was older and my father couldn't drive I would take my father there everyday so he could be with his friends. My father George Hudkins and Pete were great friends. My father past away in 1985. I have many happy memories going to the bar. Loved playing the Arcade games. Pete even gave me quarters to play them.Pete treated everyone like family. My thoughts and prayers...

We knew Peter and Mary through Atlantic Terrace West and loved the big smile and a tip of the cap from Peter when he would greet us! My thoughts and prayers are with Mary and Peter's family.

This is sad news, indeed. I and all my family have know Peter for many years through our love of Florida. He was a friend to my Mom, Dad, and then Ginnie, and I will always remember his warmth and hugs when I came back to Florida. I pray for his peace and serenity with his Lord. My prayers go out to Mary and the all the family. Sending love to you all.

Pete & Cathy Portillo

I first met Mr. Rendina, Pete, as a lad when my Dad would take my brother and me into Eatmore for orange pop and chips. He was friendly and courteous then to us and later in life to my own family as we visited the family's businesses. Raised two sons who have carried on his work ethic with success. From my view point, Pete's life's race left him in the winner's circle. He will be missed.
