Still remembering you,and enjoying your family especially your son Jimmy!

It's been Ten Years since your passing, I was told to give up my place on the bench at Jones Beach. I did, after you & Heinz left so quickly, I don't miss it. except listening to your stories..

Peter was a legend in his own time, We used too meet at Jones Beach, we were both retired, both of us never worked together but were in the same Union, we knew the same people.. It seemed like Peter knew everybody in the local and Sea ford Too.. I met his family at his wake, Great Family!! There were people at the Beach that we said Hello too every morning, Pete, Earhart, and myself... Both of them good friends.. Both have passed the same Year, people told me not to sit on that bench...

Still remembering you!

Pete We haven't seen each other in many years but have kept in touch thru my brother who met with you often at Jones Beach.I valued Our friendship all these years and hope to see you again someday.

Jones Beach boardwalk will never be the same Mr. Roell! Your quick wit will be sorely missed by Bill and I! Will always be reminded of you when I pass your bench at field 6!

Jones Beach and a lot of citizens will miss you sitting on the bench in parking lot 6 having your conversations with everybody that came bye..Everybody knows how your Grand-daughter in Malloy College is the best track Star and Lacrosse player..And Your Grandsons are the best football and baseball players out there..How you love them all and miss your wife..No matter how hard you tried to hide your soft feelings for your family it always came out..It was a pleasure and a adventure sharing the...
