PETER RUBAS

I will always remember my wonderful 8th grade teacher at Ann Street School and then the chance to see him at our neighborhood high school, East Side. He was a great teacher and a fun person to know. He cared about us, and we loved him in return. His love of football and coaching also stand out in our memories. If anyone had a love of the game, it would be him, Greg Notte and Artie Marano. They are gone, but no East Sider that knew them will ever forget them.

I'll always remember Peter's interesting walk....like a true football player and coach. He was a friendly, encouraging man, who I'll remember from Ann Street and East Side High Schools in Newark.

God promises to reunite us with those we have lost in death & restore Earth to a paradise (ISA 33:24)

Sincere condolences to the Rubas family during this time. It is never easy to have a loved one die but we are all promised a hope for the future. The promise is for us to all enjoy life everlasting on earth as was originally intended. My thoughts to you all.
