I taught art at St. Anselm’s from 2000-2005. Peter was in my classes and he was remarkable. It wasn’t his prowess as an artist, but as a human being that set him apart. You raised a real gentleman with a sharp inquisitive mind and winning way. He was a delight, and as a parent, that is what I would like to hear about my child.
I can’t imagine your sorrow at losing such a wonderful son, but please take some solace in knowing that both his peers and his teachers held him in such high esteem. May God’s peace and light be with you to guide you through this dark time. My prayers are with you and your family.

When something like this happens that should never happen, for which there is no understandable explanation, I can only think, along with the fate of my precious wife who died much, much too young, that life is too often unfair. It makes me both sad and angry at the unfairness of it. My thoughts now are with you and the courage that you must suffer and endure. I am so sorry.

Peter has finally reached a place where he will have a multitude of challenging peers for It's Academic competition! I will long recall fond memories of him -- a blessing to many of us.

Peter was a dream come true to me as a Latin teacher and an It's Academic coach. I will always remember his brilliance and kindness to everyone he encountered! May God comfort you with memories of the years you enjoyed with such a remarkable child and with the knowledge that you will spend eternity with Peter -- where there are no trivia questions unanswered! Your love for your son was obvious to all while he was still among us! May the blessing of having shared his life comfort you now.

My thoughts and prayers are will all of you during this difficult time. I feel as if I know Peter from hearing so much about him & Luci from their Aunt Linda-Jean.
We don't know why these things happen but you can all take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
