Not sure what to say?

I decided to Google Mr. Sanden's name tonight and came upon his obituary. He was truly a one of a kind teacher who instilled wonderment in history and social studies. He personally inspired me to fulfill all my travel goals with his classroom stories of far away lands. I remember visiting Istanbul years ago and the first thought I had in visiting the Hagia Sophia was how he told us in class of the building of this church. I can still draw a map of the Mediterranean region which he taught us...

Mr. Sanden was one of my favorite teachers and really helped all of his students to write effectively. I enjoyed him and his hands on classes. Thanks Peter!

Thanks Mr. Sanden for all the encouragement you gave to all students. It was a joy and privilege to have you as a teacher. I loved being in choir & music class under your direction, as you shared your love of music with us. Rest in peace...thou good and faithful servant.

Sorry for your loss. He was a great teacher.
Music wasn't my best subject but I remember him making it interesting and enjoyable.

Lower Paxton respect.

Mr. Sanden was simply one of the very best teachers I ever had, and I know my brother and sisters would say the same. He brought immense creativity, curiosity, and generosity to the craft of teaching. We're grateful to have been beneficiaries of his talent and dedication.

I attended CHHS 1972-1976. Mr. Sanden was my favorite teacher, although I never articulated that thought to him. I wish I had. My current engagement in the political realm is due in no small part to him. My condolences to his family.

Peter inspired me to have a lifelong appreciation for classical music and the joy of singing. He was an excellent educator and kind person. Praying for your comfort at this sad time.

Pete was an outstanding scholar and teacher.
He touched the lives of numerous students over the years and was a great role model
to the Camp Hill Community and staff. May he rest in peace.

My condolences to the family at this difficult time.

Pete was a teacher among teachers. All of us who worked with him at Camp Hill or invited him to talk to our classes in his retirement will remember him with respect for his artful way of connecting with students over important subjects. Resquiescat in Pace.
