Not sure what to say?

He would buy his favorites, marzano tomatoes, alkaline water, bananas and always flowers for his wife, who was no longer earth side. He was one of the kindest and sweetest humans I have ever met. We bonded over our love of humor and my name, Angie. Both Italians. I´m so sorry that I didn´t know about this sooner. My thoughts and prayers and condolences are with the family of...

Mr. Sangalli was my high school principal. I also knew him from St. Ann´s Catholic Church. Mr. Sangalli was a good man! I am sorry for your loss! I have a Mass being said for him at our parish in Charlevoix on Tuesday, August 13th. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Deb (Mellema) Gallagher

Pete was a cherished member of the Italian Club in Kalamazoo ("il circolo") and my friend since we first met in the adult education program at K College, studying under Monica Nahm, in 1991. He always came to class well-prepared, relaxed, and ready to have fun with the language. Patricia, too, was a good friend who would frequently ask me about books to read. They were just a wonderful couple and will be greatly missed.

Paul & I are so sorry for your loss of Pete. He was an amazing, supportive principal & friend (cross country skiing). We both had fond memories of Iowa State. So thankful some of our Retired Gull Lake Female Teacher's shared lunch with Pete at Martell's on May 22. He had hired many of us. May God comfort your family.

So sorry for your loss, Pete was a wonderful boss and friend.
