Peter was such a wonderful person who generously gave of his time and talents to benefit Lift Urban Portland. He was a cherished volunteer and supporter of our organization. He will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

I cannot find the words to express how sad I am. Uncle Peter, as I referred to him, was the kindest man, great dad, fine card player and good friend. I can picture him now, playing cards with my deceased mom -- where ever their souls will hang out laughing together from this time on! I loved you Peter Sargent!

I had the privilege of serving on two Lift Urban Portland event-planning committees with Peter. What an asset he was! He had great design skills and loads of enthusiasm. A truly generous and lovely person.

Peter at the set-up for the 2013 Lift Urban Portland Garden party fundraiser. A wonderful person to have on the event committee!
