Not sure what to say?

Dear Julie, Gigi and Pete, Jr. - I am so sorry for your loss and am incredibly saddened to have read of Peter´s passing just today in the Michigan Alum magazine. Pete was an amazing man and great friend. With deep, heartfelt sympathy, Paul Brown

Heartfelt condolences to the family

My sympathy to his family and friends. I had the honor of getting to know Pete while he worked at the food bank and I volunteered on Monday mornings. He made sure to always come through the warehouse and thank the volunteers for their time. He was a true gentleman. He is gone way too soon.

I met Pete when he and his wonderful family welcomed me to their home in Lake Forest while I was taking classes in a nearby college. He is one of the nicest and most loving person that I ever have met, and made me feel like family from the first day I arrived. It is thanks to him and his family that I fell in love with Chicago and, even after 8 years, I still wear daily the Cubs sweater that they gave me. A sweater that only gained further meaning following his passing.

So sad to hear of Pete’s passing. We are praying that the Lord brings understanding and peace to Julie and their children. We love you Julie

I met Pete while working at Feeding America. He was a wonderful, authentic and warm person and the news of his death greatly saddens me. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Pete was a good man to work with. I knew Pete at McDonald's and always had positive experiences with him. I'm sorry to hear Pete has left this world too soon.
