Pete was passion, compassion, dedication, leader, director all in one. He commanded respect and was adored by his coworkers. He is not only going to be missed by family but by many many people who came across him and were never able to leave him behind... he touched many people thru service and genuineness. Prayers to the family. Pete was my first store director 20 years ago at #52. He always treated everyone with dignity and respect and had fun. I was saddened to hear of his passing. He will TRUELY be missed.

I've known Pete since high school thanks to my friendship with his sister Becky. In later years we crossed paths again & were co- workers at Meijer along with his brother Jim. I am so saddened to hear of his passing & my heart goes out to his family! Pete was well liked & missed when he parted ways with Meijer. But one thing is for certain - he will ALWAYS be fondly remembered!
