Read MoreMy first eye exam was performed by Dr Schunk back in 1965 when I was 6 years old. We had just moved from Wyoming to Colo Springs. He was so kind and gentle when he fitted me to my very first pair of eyeglasses. It was such an endearing moment. I told him "I can now see!" I can imagine the heavenly vision he is now seeing. My condolences and prayers go out to the Schunk family. He will be dearly missed.

Some of the fondest memories we have are those skiing with the Schunk family at Vail and after a day on the slopes, Diane and Pete and we got to endure watching our kids play their never-ending game of Risk. The Schunks and the Waldens were also proud members of the Anti-Gourmet Club where we enjoyed group singing led by Pete at the piano.
