Not sure what to say?

I just found out today that Peter passed away in April. He was my parents' financial advisor. He was a friend to them as well and were so good to them, and to me as I was navigating their finances before and after they both passed. My wife and I were so impressed with the caring treatment we received from Peter and the whole staff with him at Hilliard Lyons at the time, that we transferred our retirement finances to him too. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to his...

I knew Pete during his college years and I was working night shift on the mainframe at the college . Absolutely brilliant and creative guy. We solved all the worlds problems many times over card games and Budweiser. In a bottle. Godspeed little brother.

Peter handled my father's investments until he passed in 2020. Peter was such a good friend and confident to my dad, that my brother had him manage some of his finances, as well. He, too, became friends with Peter. I think Peter became friends with nearly everyone he met. I'm very saddened by his passing, and send prayers out to his loved ones and plethora of friends.

We were clients of Peter's for ten years and looked forward to the periodic reviews of our portfolio -- partly because it was always a great opportunity to enhance our vocabularies. He was an interested advisor, always inquiring as to family members, showing a comprehensive regard for our complete picture. He will be greatly missed.

Godspeed, Pete, and may you forever gallop on a good run following hounds. You will be much missed. I am glad we were able to reconnect at least virtually after 40 years, where we discovered a shared love of horses. My deepest condolences to your family.

Peter was the first true friend I had as a clueless freshman at William and Mary in 1978. He and I went on to become fraternity brothers and summer house mates. Our journeys went separate ways after college, although we occasionally caught up with each other, and, when we did, it was if the years melted away, and we were hanging out at the pinball machine in the dorm lobby, or earnestly discussing life while hunched over a chess board, all over again. Pete, you will be missed.

I only knew Peter in his collegiate incarnation. He was charismatic and brilliant, somehow simultaneously boisterous and thoughtful, and one of the good ones. Godspeed, Peter.

Fate thee well, Peter. So sorry we couldn´t share one more drink and laugh. You are missed.

Peter. We are so sorry. We will really miss you. You were a fantastic friend and financial advisor. Patricia and Don Sima
