Not sure what to say?

WOW! This news is very heartbreaking. I remember a few years ago going to urgent care for myself and kids & the first time I met Dr Shaw he was just the best. You can tell he was the type of doctor you wanted treating you. He was so kind, great listener and a great doctor. So knowledgeable! Just a really great doctor. There were even times we went to urgent care & we requested him. This is just so heartbreaking. Rest is eternal peace, Dr Shaw. My condolences go to his family. Peace be with...

I´m so sorry to see this news Deannette. My condolences to you and your sweet family.

Dr. Shaw was a great doctor who worked tirelessly to treat every patient as a cherished person. He was a great friend who will be missed. RIP Pete.

I am a nurse that worked with Dr. Shaw. He was a great physician and a colleague. God has you, Dr. Shaw; may you rest in Eternal piece.

Dr. Shaw was my all time favorite Dr! I loved working with him and the Dr I trusted wholeheartedly with our patients, myself and my family! You made a huge impact on me during my early years as a nurse! You will be greatly missed!

I was so deeply saddened when I saw this face in the obituaries. I knew this man as my customer, Peter, at Cooper´s Gardens, and I also knew him as Dr. Shaw when he treated me 3-4 times at the Kaiser urgent care....such a kind & gentle soul and nothing short of a pleasure to deal with wearing any hat. I remember him at my store carrying his baby girl around proud as a peacock as he shopped with Deanett. My deepest sympathy to this lovely family, I am happy to have met and experienced such...

So sorry to hear of the loss of Dr. Shaw. A few years ago, he was the urgent care physician during/after an acute asthma attack, and each time I saw him, he was caring, proactive in testing/treatment, and would check in to see how I was doing. I find that to be very rare in today's medical profession and I really appreciated it. Again, so sorry for your loss.

I remember Dr. Shaw as an ER Resident at KMC. He was such a patient and kind man. He was one of the good doctors that you want to work around and be treated by if the need arose. RIP Doc.

Pete was one of the finest physicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He was also my friend. The angels in heaven are rejoicing over his presence where he awaits the arrival of those who God calls by name. Pete will be sorely missed.
