Peter Allan Shulman

I found out about his death in 2020, while trying to find him to ask him to play his cello for me upon my death. I was inconsolable. We were friends, colleagues, and had a student- cello teacher relationship. I loved Peter. I facilitated his interview as a Kindergarten teacher in the SLCSD and since then, we developed a strong bond. friendship. Now, 2025, I still miss him and mourn his death every day. Peter was a lovely and caring man. He will leave a big gap in his families. We miss you.

I only met Peter twice, but both times he impressed me with both his courage and his kindness. I regret that I did not have more time to get to know him better.

Peter was one of the most interesting people I ever met, he led an interesting and eclectic life and his stories would always make me smile. I'm going to miss talking to him.

When I knew Peter as a Carlson teacher, he was always thinking about others and not himself. He fought cancer and won, in spirit. A beautiful soul has left us... we will remember you, Peter.

I met Peter back in 1995 when we both taught ESL at Belmont Adult School. He was always good-natured and friendly. His students loved him, as well. Later I found out that he played cello and was a former Piatigorsky student. We played chamber music together many times, and, in fact, we played a string quintet in honor of Andre Sutton, the former ESL coordinator at Belmont.
