Goodbye to a man I will respect forever. Thank you for all your wisdom kind man. You will live on forever in my eyes.

The community will miss Peter terribly. His smile, dedication and compassion for humanity, as well as his desire to see people successful, will be both missed and celebrated beyond his time here on Earth. Peter made it a point to help his fellow men and women, not out of pride but instead with a small quiet voice. This is the sign of a man that is genuine in the eyes of God. God bless you Peter, and all of his family as well.

We'll miss this larger-than-life man with his kind eyes, warm spirit and hilarious sense of humor. Buffy and the rest of his family will be in our hearts and hopes for healing their own.

Tom, Timothy and Georgia will forever have wonderful memories of the entire Smith family. Their love for our daughter, Susan (Timothy's mother) and Timothy is immesurable.

Peter and Buffi were two of our dearest friends at camp in Maine. We will miss him more than I can say. His family is in our hearts and in our prayers.

Susan and I will greatly miss Peter at Camp Phoenix. He was a great joy as a next door neighbor.

I was one of Peter's childhood friends and neighbors in Berlin. He was much admired by the Class of "57."

My deepest condolences to his family and to his sister, Esther.
