Not sure what to say?

Dear Smock Family,

I am not sure if you read this anymore, but I was just notified that this Guest book will soon be taken off line. It is strange timing, because I was just going through old pictures, and found so many of Pete. I think of your family often, and Pete all the time. He was my best "guy" friend and has never been replaced. He was one of a kind and I am still saddend by his passing. I gather condolence in knowing what a wonderful, close family you are and that you truly...

I just learned of Pete’s passing and am so saddened. It has been years since I have seen Pete but my memories of him are so vivid. At the TKO house, on campus or just talking to him, you felt he genuinely cared about you. My prayers go out to you and your family. Pete – you are missed by many!

“In memories golden basket; drop one pearl for me” - unknown

Dear John and Sheila,
I was deeply saddened to hear the terrible news of the passing of your son, Peter. May you find comfort in the many wonderful memories that you and your family have of Peter. You are both in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
With sympathy,

To the Smock Family:
I was blessed to have known Pete since the first week of orientation at Villanova. Always witty but also reflective and articulate, any time I ever had with Pete was enjoyable. I miss him so much. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for all your strength last week at the service. Take care

I was sad to hear of Pete’s passing. He was a witty and wonderful person that made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. I remember Pete’s sophomore year birthday at Villanova. A couple of Pete’s friends decided to celebrate it in a comical way. They got a hold of Pete’s senior year high school picture and brought it to a Make-Your-Own-T-Shirt store near campus. After 15 or 20 T-Shirts with just Pete’s picture on the front were printed, they were given out to a bunch of Pete’s friends....

Dear John and Sheila and family,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your son, Peter. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this most difficult time. May he rest in peace and look down on all of you with love. With deepest sympathy, Margaret and Tom Kinst

We are deeply sorry to hear of Peter's passing. The Smock Family has always welcomed and befriended all those who have crossed their path, and so a loss for them is a loss for all of us. We will remember Peter for his charm, generosity, and great Smock sense of humor. We pray for his family.

The Allabastro Family

Our deepest sympathies to the Smock family for the loss of Peter. You are in our prayers. Hoping your many fond memories and your faith will help you through these trying times.

The Brian Hill family

Dear Smock Family,
Unable to attend Pete's memorial-I am deeply saddened and my thoughts and prayers go to the Smock family. I was lucky knowing Pete in high school-he was always a joy. I am happy to have shared some good times with Pete. Regards, Elizabeth Gamber-class of 1990.
