Not sure what to say?

I was a James Blair HS classmate of Peter's and had sporadic contact with him over the years since our graduation in 1973. Though I only arrived in Williamsburg in 1971, Peter reached out to me and welcomed me into the school that first year.

In the years afterward when we reconnected, we always shared stories, filled each other in on what was going on in our lives, and promised to keep in touch. To hear of this so much later after his death in no way has lessened the shock of his...

I'm so sorry to hear of Peter's passing.I'm late to know. His sister Laura was a good friend and Peter never failed to make me laugh when I would be in their home. What a great loss. My sincere condolences to all of the family.

Cherri,

Peter was like a brother to me. His mother as my own. Laura like a little sister. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. Let me know how I can be of any help.

Cherri - I was truly saddened to hear of your husband's passing. You and your family will be in my prayers. Please let me know if I can help in any way.

May God be with you and the entire Spellmeyer family.

Dear Cheri,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I went to high school w/Peter and he was my lab partner in Advanced Biology. His knowledge of animals was amazing and when I went to his house once I saw why. He had several cow skulls in his room. I'll never forget that.

We got together (w/Ed Wiggley) about six years ago and had a nice couple of hours catching up. He was truly a class act, and his wit and humor will be missed.

Laura, and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of your brothers death. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

We always enjoyed Pete's visits to our farm in Wakefield. His warm and easygoing personality made it a joy to be around him. He went from being a customer to a good friend and he will be truly missed.
