SREDICH, Peter Joseph - Of Burton, age 91, died Friday, May 21, 2021 at his residence.


Peter was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 5, 1929, the son of the late Mike and Sophia Sredich, and a resident of Burton since 1962. Peter graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1948 and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He married Josephine "Jo" Rambat on August 3, 1957. Peter was employed by Buick Motor Division for 27 years, retiring in 1989.  He enjoyed hunting, gardening, fishing and golfing. During the winter, Peter and Jo enjoyed Arizona, where he volunteered with the Sheriff Auxiliary in Pima County, Arizona. 


Surviving are his daughters, Kris and husband David George of Marysville; Mara and husband Steve Nowak of Plymouth; Jana and husband James Ragnone of Davidson, North Carolina; 


7 grandchildren, Peter, Kyle, Iliana, Adam, Eli, Emma and Kara; brother, Mike "George" Sredich of Clio; 


several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine. 


Visitation 11am Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2143 South Center Road, Burton.  Service to follow at 12 noon, Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating. 


Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery 11am Tuesday, May 25, 2021.

I am very sorry to read about the loss of your dad and the recent loss of your mom. They live on through you. Hope you and your family are well.
