Pete was my counselor @summer camp in Maine-great counselor & some memorable bball games back in the daymiss him

I had the privilege of playing softball with Peter for a number of seasons. He was an excellent player and teammate. While I was President of NVSS, Peter provided invaluable legal advice to our organization. He will be missed by all who knew him. RIP, teammate!

Dear Carol and Stackhouse family,

Pete Stackhouse and his family were highly regarded neighbors and friends in the Westmont neighborhood of McLean where my family lived. Pete is 10 years older than me, so we weren't mates. However, his parents, David and Natalie, were anchors of the neighborhood; good, gracious and kind people.

Pete was a teammate on my very first Northern Virginia Senior Softball (NVSS) team in 2011. Though I was a rookie and a part-time player, it was obvious to me right away who the star of the team would be. I remember Pete throwing an accurate bullet to home from far beyond his shortstop position after venturing out to left field as the cut-off man.
