I somehow missed Ginny's forwarding Pete's obit in the midst of yet another move this summer. So sorry for your loss. You and Pete were the best neighbors a family could hope for. Thanks for your faithful friendship with my parents and thanks especially for joining us for the remembrance lunch for my mom.
May you experience God's grace and consolation in this time of grief.

I just now learned of Pete's passing when I read the October Washington Alpine Club bulletin. I was a teen-ager when I knew him back in the 1950's. He was the nicest man and I enjoyed the dances he directed at Guye Cabin. I also want to thank Pete and Mary Jane for caring for my step-father, Wilbur Wertz, in his final days.
