Fond memories of Pete at DeKalb High and First Baptist Church in Fort Payne. He was a classmate of Duward's and a great band member. Condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to read about the passing of Peter. His brother Johnny was a classmate of mine. My sincere sympathy to his family and they are in my prayers.

Sorry to about Bro. Pete. He was our fill in pastor at Carters Grove Bapt. Church for a while. He was a wonderful person.Earth's loss is Heaven Gain. Will remember the family in Prayer.

Uncle Pete will be missed! The Tcherneshoffs were on the frontier in the mission field in South Brazil. Many there will be saddened to hear of his passing, but grateful that he's with his love Aunt Rheta and both in the welcoming arms of our Lord Jesus Christ! The Sharpleys grieve with the boys, my buddies and rejoyce in their new life over Jordan! Love, Bob.

Welsh Neck Baptist Church was deeply touched by the ministry of Pastor Tcherneshoff in the 1960's. I am often reminded by church members of he and his family. We pray for you all in this time of loss.

Our part of the world has lost a gentle Christian giant.

It is always hard to explain how our special aunts and uncles growing up were just as if they were our relatives. Aunt Rita and Uncle Peter helped me and influenced as to who I am today - what great special people! May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

I knew you better than the rest of the family, but Pete was also my friend in high school and college. John, my room-mate in college and life-long friend, may God's solace be with the family during this time. Pete and Rita were namesakes for the Missionary group in our Church in Satellite Beach, Florida. They will be missed as they were sources of spiritual blessings for years.
