Happy heavenly New Year Pete

Dear Judy,
I just read about Pete's passing. So sorry. He influenced and mentored many young students and will be fondly remembered.

Pete had such a fabulous sense of humor, he made every studio at Rice a delight. So sorry to just read that he is gone. My condolences to Judy and his family, such a loss.

My sincere sympathies. Peter was a year ahead of me in high school, and a friend, at a time when I had few of those. The space around him was always a positive one, brightening up the atmosphere of those around him.

I loved this kind, funny man with his self-effacing wit and expansive intelligence. You were my friend Peter, you always understood. I didn't have to explain anything to you.
