I just learned of Peter's passing as I have been in Kansas the last 4 years caring for my Dad. I met Peter when I was living in Kansas City. While we lost touch from time to time, we still connected on occasion. Peter was one of the nicest, generous and thoughtful men I have ever know. I am sadden that I was not here to attend his Memorial Service. A wonderful man who will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry to hear about Pete. I will remember him as quiet guy who didn't say much, but always had a smile for you.
Perhaps the brightness of that smile shining down from above will give our beloved Cubs that "extra something" they need to finally become World Champs.
My deepest condolences to the entire Thomas family.
