Not sure what to say?

Two years on I still find myself pulling up memories of the many years of friendship we shared. I also find myself telling stories of our adventures (some crazy), celebrations (always important) and conversations/discussions (always significant although occasionally contentious. I miss them all. Again, fair winds and following seas, Pete.

Cheryl & Family; So sorry! My family just found out - my sister was looking for some information on-line and came across Peter's obituary - We would have wanted to be there for you - so very sorry - I just told my mom, she sends her sympathy; she was so sorry she missed Peter's Service - He was a good man! I personally enjoyed his wit! What was Peter's favorite charity? Please email me at [email protected] Condolence's and God Bless - Love, Paul May Peter Rest in Peace -

In almost sixty years of ministry Pete was one of the best Lay Leaders I had. At the West Hartford UMC he, and his friend Allen Beavers, were always available to give advice, counsel and support. My condolences to Cheryl and his family.May the God of peace grant you comfort in your sadness. Sincerely, Rev. Stuart Thody

Pete, I will miss our word play and jocular jousting! I know that the pain and anxiety is gone now and you are at peace. I'll miss you Cuz the Younger you done good!!!

Even though a very special person's life has passed, the happiness, the joy we shared at Towpath Junior High and Canton High School- The memories will last forever...Also the great boating experience we had together can not be forgotton. But most of all my afternoon coffee brakes with Pete would start for an hour which turned out to be two to three hours. I will newer forget our conversations about world topics. The waitress at Friendly,s restaurant use to wonder when are these guys...

Very well said! Pete will always be remembered as said in his obituary for his dry wit humor, that was always present when ever he was in your company and sometimes it showed up out of nowhere! He will be missed! My families sympathy goes out his family and friends.

Sixty-six years of friendship and so many memories. Cheryl, Kim, Randy, Greg, Matt, Gary and all the young'uns: treasure the memories. Pete: Fair winds and following seas.

Our condolences to the Thomsen and Edgar families for the loss of their husband, and father. May the Lord bring you many fond memories and peace that surpasses all understanding. Love and hugs to all those left behind. Bill and Linda
