Not sure what to say?

Peter Thomson will be remembered in our family for his sense of fun, joie de vivre and his bicycle...The signed copies of "Following the Fulham" in which Peter thanked our son for his support, will continue to remind us of Peter in years to come.

The Banks Family

An inspiration from the first day at Emanuel school, to the times we spent in Mortlake a long time after Emanuel. If ever there was a role model to set a standard, then this was the man. Never to be forgotten.

Such a wonderful inspirational man who will forever live in our hearts., whether it be through FFC, The Harrodian School or simply passing through Mortlake or Barnes where we will remember Mr Thomson riding his bicycle.

I remember Peter Thomson with great fondness. Serious yet jovial, tough but kind, always encouraging and supportive. God Bless.

I was very sad to hear the news of Peter Thomson's death. He was an inspiration to A level History pupils: intellectually rigorous, humourous and a commanding presence.

From the moment I met him at interview, through his support and leadership during my time at Emanuel, Mr Thomson was an inspirational Headmaster and a wonderful role model. Thankyou so much.

Eternal rest from life at the chalkface. Thank you for the memories and opportunities. RIP

Many people encounter an inspirational teacher in their lives whose ability and enthusiasm leave a lasting impression. Peter Thomson was mine. He had a genius for making Anglo-Saxon England seem exciting to 15 year old boys. Extremely sad to hear that he had died.

I remember Peter Thomson as a fine teacher of history and am very sorry to hear of his passing.
