I first met Pete when I was a little kid in the 1970s. I was running around in a warehouse where he was one of the wine salesmen there. I later became one of those salesmen and worked with Pete. I have many fond memories. I uploaded a picture of some of the old Hammer Company sales force having lunch with my dad a couple of years before my dad passed away. Pete is standing in the center back. I will miss him.

Peter was a man who lived life on his own terms. Gifted with high intelligence, physical grace and a strong moral compass he was the epitome of class. From the early days as our CYO quarterback to serving as chef at our "Bad Boys" reunion in Madison he was always a welcome presence. It was my privilege and good fortune to have known him almost my entire life and his memory wil not fade. The world is a lessor place without him. -Mark DeLong St. Ann´s `59

Please accept my condolences to the entire family. Growing up on Edison Road provided me with the opportunity to know Mr. Titas throughout the years. Not only was he a fantastic father and husband but a fun, happy, and kind man. He lived a beautiful, full life. You are all in my prayers.

My wife and I are lucky enough call Christine, Andrew and Peter friends. I met Christine through First Tee shortly after we moved to Cleveland in 2023. Our families now hang out like lifelong friends. There´s no greater gift than family and friends.
