Not sure what to say?

I moved in to the city from a farm in grade seven. I was out of my element and people were strangers, except for Peter. He was kind and sensitive and I felt like he knew me, who I really was, while I was trying to find a way to fit in - a wise, kind, and gentle soul. And he was funny! My condolences to his loved ones.

Deepest sympathy for Peter's family. Many years ago, when Peter lived in Meadowlark, he was always such a positive and happy person. I remember, even over 50 years ago, going to his house for an elementary school birthday party, his parents, and his sister, Karen. Time does catch up to us, though. You will be truly missed.

Condolences to your family. I knew Peter at Hillcrest & JP Comp.
He had a great sense of humour.

I lived in Rio Terrace and was an avenue north, of where they lived. We had Jasper Place High School 50th Anniversary dinner and dance in 2012 and have Facebook group. I will share his passing, with the group. Always being a fun and friendly person, Peter will be missed.

So sad to hear the news about Peter. I enjoyed working with him at both Shell and PanCanadian. He was always so up-beat and cheerful; a truly great guy.

Dearest Shelley & Simon- Please accept our most heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your beloved and our good and wonderful friend, Peter. We will remember Peter as jovial, caring, lovable, and positive. For the boys' weekend at Mameo, Peter travelled with the trailer, loved a good beer, and a good party! We will miss him dearly! Our thoughts and prayers are with you... Love, Markiana, Gerry & family

I was very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I was a friend of Peter's in his younger years and although had not been touch for some time I have many fond memories of him, his wonderful wit and zest for life. From all the comments it seems Peter enjoyed a good, happy life in Calgary and though he left the world too soon it is a better place for his being in it. My sincere condolences to all Peter's family and friends.

I lived down the street from the Tottrup's in Rio Terrace when I was growing up and although I was older he never hesitated to stop and chat. He was always so friendly and enthusiastic. I know he will be missed by those who knew him and offer my condolences to his immediate and extended family, friends and acquaintances.
